Flame & chemical resistant, UL approved Insulators & Shields

LGInternational’s line of Insulators and Shields are constructed from RoHS compliant materials, adhesives and inks specially selected for their flame and chemical resistant qualities. Both UL 94 VTM-0 and UL 94 V-0 approved products are available. Resistance to a wide range of chemicals along with low moisture absorption makes the application of these products ideal for printed circuits.

PCB Insulators

LGInternational’s insulators are a great choice for manufacturers of printed circuit boards (PCB), mini-PCI, Wi-Fi cards, and modem cards.

• Ultra-thin : Constructed of two laminated layers of Polyvinyl Fluoride (PVF) and pressure sensitive adhesive and only 3.5 mils thick—delivering significantly less thickness than alternative materials such as Kapton® and ULTEM®.
• Fire resistant : LGI’s insulators are UL recognized with the UL flame retardant specification of UL 94 VTM-0
• Print On-Demand : Unlike most insulators, LGI’s insulators allow thermal transfer printing of variable information, such as sequential serial numbers, model #, MAC address and bar codes.
• Unmatched strength and performance : Our PVF laminate has excellent dielectric strength and resistance to humidity. It is also highly abrasion and tear resistant and shows no reaction to a variety of solvents and harsh chemicals.
• Custom Engineered to Your Specifications : Customize your insulator by defining requirements such as:
  • Die cut pattern
  • Pre-printed data, such as product information and agency marks
  • Designated areas for agency-supplied labels
