UL approved printer, UL labels and CSA labels

Underwriters Laboratories® (UL) rigorously tests appliances and products to verify their safety for both commercial and consumer use. As a UL approved printer, LGI is authorized to produce labels for UL certified products. Additionally, we print CSA labels and stock a variety of UL recognized materials. With years of experience working within UL and CSA regulations, LGI can assist you with the UL and CSA approval process for any new label constructions that have not yet been submitted. LGI also has received UL certification for many of our custom label constructions ensuring that your labels are as safe as the products you put them on.

RoHS Compliant Labels

As the emerging RoHS Directive takes effect 1 July 2006, LGI stands ready with RoHS compliant label materials. The RoHS Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. Our knowledgeable staff will assist you in developing a RoHS compliant label construction for your product. At your request, we will verify any existing products we produce for you for RoHS label compliance.
