LGInternational receives 2005 TLMI Eugene Singer Award for Management Excellence

Portland, OR, March 9, 2006 – LGInternational, manufacturer of advanced labeling solutions, received the prestigious 2005 TLMI Eugene Singer Award for Management Excellence at the TLMI 2006 Converter Meeting held March 5-8 in Half Moon Bay, CA.

This is the fifth time that LGInternational has received this award, receiving it in four consecutive years, from 1993 to 1996. “It’s a real honor to receive the Eugene Singer Award again,” says Lon Martin, LGInternational founder and CEO. “Most of our employees that are with us today were working at LGI when we received the Eugene Singer Awards over a decade ago. I believe this loyalty and a dedication to excellence have been crucial to the ongoing success of our company.”

The Eugene Singer Award is given annually by the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute to four converter member companies, based on annual sales volume. These awards recognize excellence in business management, measured by defined business ratios calculated through the TLMI Management Ratio Study. Competing for the award encourages TLMI members to incorporate new and innovative methods of improving productivity and efficiency in order to increase financial return to the company.
